You fall to the level of your systems.

Writing

Writing is my clarity. It’s the only thing that allows me to truly express who I am, and what I know. It’s also one of the best ways I learn new concepts and methods.

The goal of my writing is to teach others how to do the things that I do, and inspire them to make lasting positive differences in their lives.

I write longer thoughts on my blog, shorter thoughts on twitter, and in-depth teaching guides.

Code

I build static sites and blogs using Github Pages.

I mostly code in JavaScript, but I also write quite a bit of C. I strive to make performant code, but don’t let perfectionism get in the way of shipping something.

With JavaScript, I code serverless web applications using Firebase.

Some things I’ve made:

  • 👚 Closet Tools - A Poshmark automation tool.
  • 📖 Try Bible - A Bible app that allows readers to change the translation of individual verses and take notes.
  • 🚚 Brave Freight - A freight management application bridging the gap between drivers and dispatchers.

Though there’s not much publicly available code, you can check out my Github.

Founder

Currently: I’m shipping features and writing content for Closet Tools. All related business metrics (including MRR, traffic, etc.) are documented publicly.

I quit my full-time engineering job on 11/08/19 to work on Closet Tools full-time, and pursue some other ventures. I plan on running a consistent newsletter (maybe two), and attempting to put my hat in the ring as a respected writer on the internet.

I like to make websites and products, rank websites, run profitable paid traffic, and write code to automate processes. I am a self-taught digital marketer and growth/funnel hacker. If you had to sum me up - I’m an indiehacker.

I enjoy building products that are intuitive, performant, and profitable.

I believe that providing value up-front is the best way to get eyeballs on any product or service. Building tools and applications, and writing content can be huge traffic and sales drivers for any business.
